You have a real gift, Kristen. I love your style of storytelling. Can’t wait for the next installment! Do you have formal training as a chef, or self-taught?

What, what a post! Sensory overload. I'm glad you saw some of my homeland--land of the desert and the dinosaurs. I hope you made a pitstop at the giant indian casino next to Cabazon.

I watched The Magic Schoolbus very late in life. Far later than I care to admit. In fact, if it were on TV at this very moment, I'd probably sit down and watch an episode.

Drew, thank you, that's high praise (this is Drew's <a href="http://flickr.com/photos/drewbsaunders/" rel="nofollow">Flickr stream</a>).

I hadn't thought of it, but I hope that is a Frost reference (from the pastures of Waterpenny Farms); I'll ask this Saturday and report back---

Beautiful mixture of words and photos; you have the best food shots I've seen. You know, the market sign might also be a reference to Frost's "Pasture" poem, too.

I can see it now: you, me, and Kat, we put together our own booth of crafty craftables. I'll knit scarves and such, Kat will design jewelry or clothing with her distinctive cosmopolitan flair, and you - well, kthread, there are so many things you could offer. No matter what, we'll give the Chai Tea chutney guy a run for his money!
