What a great idea those ‘community gardens are’.

Here in the UK we have gardening ‘allotments’, which, I think, are an idea that started during the food shortages during the war.

They are still popular now and are a great way for people without a garden to grow some healthy food. Like the community gardens, there is a waiting list to get an allotment too.

So many lovely pictures of good eats and good friends! I like Kat’s new haircut–when did she say good-bye to the dreads?

I’d like to try my hand at gardening, though I suspect that I have a black thumb of death. I might start small…with a jalapeño plant or something of the sort.
