What's incredible is that the Brooklyn streets in my neighborhood are filled with his music today, and people are sitting on cars or dancing, listening to "Thriller" over and over... We never do that at Thanksgiving. I remember learning how to moonwalk in my 6th grade jazz dance class... and around the same time? Was it? confiscating my little brother's MJ tapes b/c I thought he was a bad influence. (I should note, in my questionable defense, that I was not allowed to listen to Madonna, so I was practicing the same violence on him that my parents practiced on me!) Wow.
