I do think the two are related (plating makes a difference). These peaches are so good; I'm reminded of when Ben and I procured a bushel one July, and ate almost all of them :) I usually want to play Jenga with those little stacks in restaurants---it is so nice to have all sorts of things in season right now to play with... I am always impressed that you manage to make food look so beautiful AND enticing at the same time. I'm not a huge fan of the highbrow trend of tiny stacks of food.
