kthread spins: brooklyn brownstone

I’ve been peeling off tape from cardboard boxes this weekend with my move into a lovely neighborhood of wide, wide strollers and dogs with sporty sweaters.

Without the splendid crashes, great moves are otherwise very much like a marching band—needing direction and coordinated footwork. March Fourth from Portland, Oregon led this playlist of music about movement and bearable weight before I called a new formation.

The sun streams into the new apartment’s kitchen and through the tall windows in the bedroom with original shutters from 1901. Like this podcast, I will fit the furniture near each other and into nooks for all of you. For now, this is what I am listening to in my Brooklyn brownstone. (List of songs at the bottom.)
